Music and art can save the world!
One initiative that is the saving grace for our rather fading music industry is the Lahore Music Meet: an annual trademark event of Lahore that aims to bring together Pakistani enthusiasts, artisans, artists, patrons, industry representatives and academics to initiate dialogue on the developments in music and their shortcomings.
We’re big Pakistani music and art patrons and this past March, we proudly partnered with the 3rd Edition of Pakistan’s pioneering Music Symposium. It was really an eye-opener to see musical minds from across Pakistan coming together to celebrate and critique music with intense zeal and zest!
It was also overwhelming to see some of our leading and immensely talented female musicicians and artists looking on-point in GENERATION! Here is a round-up:
1. Momina Mustehsan in a GENERATION COTTAGE shirt and dupatta. Afreen!
2. Natasha Noorani in a custom GENERATION gharara.
3. Anoushay Ashraf in GENERATION FLO’s wrapped tunic.
4. Iman Shahid sported two looks:
a. Cropped tasseled jacket from GENERATION WOMAN’s “Cubistan”
b. Tiered tunic with peek-a-boo sleeves from GENERATION WOMAN’s “Polish Mix”
