10 Amazing Stalls at The Daachi Exhibition

10 Amazing Stalls at The Daachi Exhibition

And where you can find them

For almost ten years the Daachi Foundation – a non-profit organization set up to promote the arts and crafts of Pakistan, has been having a biannual fair in Lahore. For craft lovers like ourselves, it is like being a kid in a candy store.

This year again artisan’s have brought forth some of their best work at Daachi and we can’t get enough. But guess what? Someone special accompanied us to the art and craft galore. Meet Sohni – our companion!

While we ditched our hazardous plastic bags for eco-friendly jute ones and stocked up on artsy stuff for the upcoming season, Sohni shortlisted 10 of our favourite stalls!

Hyderabadi choorian

Hand glazed bangles from Hyderabad are a must-have if you’re a fan of keeping your chittiyan or not-so-chittiyan kaliyaan decorated!

What makes the stall special? The unique, colourful designs are not available in your regular Anarkali bazaars, Jinnah Market or Gulf Centres, so stock them up!

Where can we find them? Since they thrive on exclusivity, or so it seems, you can get your stock of choorian by contacting Dilshaad on 0333-2684983.

Aliya B Spa Shop

We’ve suddenly found ourselves leaning heavily towards natural skincare and if you share our passion, you’ll love this stall. A family owned brand of all natural skin and hair care products passionately hand made in Pakistan, Aliya B is your Spa at home.

What makes the stall special? You can ‘smell’ the stall even before you spot it; it was THAT aromatic!

Where can we find them? You can inbox them on Facebook  or connect with them through their website

Pins and Needles

They specialise in bespoke Crochet tea-cosies and cosy they are!

What makes the stall special? The idea itself is impressive and the designs were like a rainbow of colours that you could spot from afar!

This is one of the MOST popular stalls at Daachi featuring pure silver jewellery from Bahawalpur. But we found it a bit lakcing this year. We’ve surely seen killer designs at previous exhibitions.
